SPORTS GUIDE
Browse sports and event information on Criccode
Use this guide to understand the sports categories in the Criccode interface, find an event, and read market information carefully. This page is informational; it is not betting advice.
Sports categories
The current interface includes cricket, football, tennis, table tennis, volleyball, ice hockey and basketball. Which events appear on a real service depends on its verified data feed, schedule and local availability. A category label simply helps organise event information; it does not confirm a fixture or market is currently open.
- Cricket and fantasy sports: event listings may distinguish formats or competitions. Review match format, participants and market rules before interpreting a market. Fantasy products, if offered by a lawful operator, have their own eligibility requirements and rules.
- Football: confirm the competition and scheduled time. A result market, total-goals market and other options are different products with different settlement rules.
- Tennis: check participant names, match format and whether an event is singles or doubles. Walkovers, retirements and interruptions may affect settlement under operator rules.
- Table tennis: matches can move quickly. Verify the competitors and match format, and avoid making decisions based only on a fast-changing display.
- Volleyball, ice hockey and basketball: each sport uses different scoring and event rules. Read the specific market definition and settlement conditions rather than assuming a label means the same thing across sports.
- Horse racing: this prototype does not show a verified horse-racing event feed. Check current schedules and rules with any authorized service.
- Greyhound racing: this prototype does not show a verified greyhound event feed. Availability and legality vary by jurisdiction.
How to find an event
- Choose a sportUse the top navigation or the sports list to jump to the relevant section.
- Search participantsOn the home-page demo, enter at least three characters of a team or participant name.
- Confirm the eventCheck both participants, the competition and the local time zone against an independent official source.
- Read the market rulesUnderstand what an option means, how the event is settled and what happens if it is postponed or abandoned.
Reading event markets
Sports markets display possible outcomes or other event-related selections. The abbreviations and numbers shown by one operator may not be universal. Look for a market guide that defines every column, price format, tie rule, void condition and settlement source. Do not assume an empty cell, dash or label has a particular meaning unless the operator explains it.
Prices can move, markets can close, and event schedules can change. The demonstration table on Criccode is static sample content, so its values cannot be used to make a real-world decision. A live operator should identify its data source, update its schedules and clearly state when a displayed market was last refreshed.
A responsible checklist
- Confirm online sports betting is lawful where you are and that you meet the legal age.
- Independently verify the operator and its authorization with the relevant regulator.
- Read the market rules, fees, privacy terms and withdrawal conditions before opening an account.
- Never treat betting as income, borrow money to participate or chase losses.
- Set a limit you can afford to lose and stop when you reach it.
